The Story of Lucy

Lucia happens to be a family name. The principal owner's middle name is Lucia, after her grandmother. Even the dog was named Lucy.

The funny story is:

In 1974, Donald Johanson and associates discovered about 40% of the prehistoric skeleton of a short ( 3 - 4' tall ) woman is Ethiopia. She was named Lucy because in the camp that night "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" was playing on the tape recorder in the tent where Johanson was examining the fossils. Johanson announced that Lucy was 3.5 million years old and walked upright. Therefore, she was the first woman who needed shoes!
